Tips & Tricks
The mocha cookie crumble frappuccino has quite a few ingredients in it, which gives you a lot of room to experiment. The base recipe is already quite delicious, but a little experimenting never hurts!

The Cookies
Our basic recipe uses regular Oreo cookies, but you can substitute any other kind of cookie and see what you think! Homemade chocolate chip cookies, chocolate wafers, or even Girl Scout Thin Mints could all be delicious additions to this frappuccino.
The Milk
And what about the milk? We generally use 1% or 2% milk for this recipe because it's a nice balance of creaminess. But feel free to use skim or whole milk — or skip the dairy and use almond milk or coconut milk. On the subject of dairy, you can skip the whipped cream topping or take it over the top by whipping a little chocolate or mint into the cream.
The Coffee
This is Coffee Affection, so of course we're very interested in the coffee! We usually use strong brewed coffee for this frappuccino — it blends well and tastes delicious — brewed using the strong setting on a Keurig or with a little extra ground coffee in a regular drip brewer. But you can always use an espresso machine, AeroPress, Moka pot, or pour-over brewer.
The Chocolate
This frappuccino doesn't just have cookies in it — it's also a mocha! Our regular recipe uses chocolate chips and chocolate syrup, which gives the drink plenty of chocolate flavor and a nice amount of texture from the chocolate chips. Other options include dark chocolate bars, brownies, or fudge. Try using your favorite form of chocolate and see if you like it!
Final Thoughts
Ready to start blending? This mocha cookie crumble frappuccino recipe has it all: chocolate, cookies, coffee, creamy milk! It's tasty, easy to make, and much cheaper than heading out to the coffee shop. Plus, you can always turn it into a family treat by skipping the coffee.
